  • XGM is in-person on Epic’s campus in Verona, WI.

  • There are no vaccination requirements for XGM 2024. Masks are welcome, but not required. If you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms of illness, please stay home.

  • XGM has sessions focused on project leadership, workflow efficiency, improving outcomes, and system governance strategies – topics that are often of interest to Clinical Informaticists and system-focused Managers. XGM is the conference designed for you and your team.

    Informaticists working in a director or executive leadership capacity and operational managers should attend UGM. If you’re a CMIO, CNIO, CIO or other system-focused executive (who often wear many hats), you should be sure to attend UGM, but might benefit from going to both.

  • Yes, session recordings will be posted on the Session Archive site after the conference. Focus Group and Strategic Design Group recordings will be posted from May 13 - June 7. All other session recordings will be posted on June 7. A UserWeb account is required.

  • To create an account, go to Userweb.Epic.com.

  • Breakfast and lunch are provided each day, along with an afternoon snack.

  • Whatever you’re most comfortable in! Attendees typically dress on the casual side of business casual.

  • During the weeks of XGM, campus is closed to visitors. All XGM activities – including tours, meals, and sessions – are intended for registered attendees. For a list of things to do and sites to see in Madison, check out the Visitor Bureau’s website.

  • Yes, Mothers Rooms are located throughout the Learning Campus and Deep Space buildings and can be reserved at Mir Information Desk when you arrive onsite.

    Each Mothers Room has a power outlet, sink, comfortable chair, and mini refrigerator available for use.

  • XGM is accredited for Continuing Medical, Nursing, and Pharmacy Education for in-person attendance. To claim credit, complete an online evaluation for each session you attend. After completing all applicable evaluations, click the Submit Credit Letter button to generate your attendance documentation.

  • Previous XGM (and UGM) slides and recordings are available on the Session Archive site.

  • If you chose the invoice option and would like to switch to a credit/debit card, access your registration, select “View Your Registration”, and under “Billing Information”, select “pay with credit card”.

    If you chose the credit/debit card option and would like to be invoiced instead, contact us at EventBilling@epic.com.

  • Invoices will be sent within a month after XGM concludes. If you have questions, contact us at EventBilling@epic.com.
